Cripple child.

My days are now mine. Kind of.
I have one more final.
I'm taking it on friday...
Why, you ask?
Because I can.

Can you believe Christmas is in like almost a week?
I'm so excited!
I can't wait to go home and see christmas trees!
I don't feel like it is Christmas at all.
NO snow.. which i am not complaining about.
no decorations... we are too cheap.

Well this week has been interesting.
First I took 3 finals on monday.
I was on campus for over 12 hours.
It was brutal.
Here's Sharon and I "studying" in the library.

We can't be quiet in a place that demands quietness..

We lose it everytime someone walks by... but honestly what would
you do if you walked past a cubicle in the library and saw that?

Next item of business ...
will be quite a big one.
My knee dislocations are coming to an end.
Surgery on the 27th.
straight-leg brace
and crutches
for who knows how long.

That means no driving...
So if you want to see my face over Christmas break
you have to come to me.
I'll probably be stationed on the couch
reading Harry Potter or
watching Modern Family.

I'm officially handicap until March 13th :)
I think I'm going to have quite the battle wounds after this ..
Good thing my shaving scars are minimal.
My poor right leg.
I'm glad I had some anatomy knowledge when the doc
was telling me what he was gonna do to my leg.
Are you curious?

well here are my knees...
(I stole my x-rays)

So my patellas (knee caps) are supposed to fit into those indents..
He said this was some sort of disease?
So he is going to cut out my tibial tuberosity
(where my tendon that holds my knee in place attaches to my tibia)
and move it to a different part of my bone and screw it in
with two GIANT screws..
Then he tightens something and releases something else and then
MAGIC.
my knee is fixed.
My right knee is the only one I have problems with luckily.

This should be quite the adventure.
snow+campus+crutches=death.
Good thing for handicap parking..
Too bad for a class down at the bottom of a giant flight of stairs.

On a happy note.
I got to go to see Voice Male last night.
I love them, they are so great.
If you don't know who they are
Check them out!

back to studying.....

one hundred.

Well here you have it... blog post #100 of Love the Life You Live.

Quite an accomplishment. Too bad it took me about 16 months. Oh well.

I will celebrate by making 100 flash cards for a final. Boo.

BUT. I am ALL done will class and homework and tests... except for 4 more finals of course.

And then all things X-mas.

I've already purchased for:
My boss
My brother
My mom

And i got my christmas cards in the mail today. Too bad I don't get to pick them up at the stupid post office until tomorrow.

I'm studying for years.. and them i'm going to the Marriott Center and praying that my Cougs can pull off and upset against Weber State. Sorry Wildcats... You are purple and ugly and remind me of old people. Glad i'm not acquainted with you daily.

Will I take 4 finals on monday? quite possibly. Depending on how this weekend goes...

Wish me luck!

Funny Bunnies

So this weekend my family went to the BYU basketball game that was at the Delta Center and then we went to see the lights at temple square. Here is a picture of my dad bundled up.. He entered the game looking like this. I wish this picture did it justice..  I was so embarrassed. I begged him to remove it.

I'm currently taking a break from studying for a nasty Science of Biology test. Watching the good 'ol CMA's. Wish they were weekly!

The other day i was reading through my journal (which I haven't written in for a real long time cause of my blog) and I found so many things that I found to be so funny. I will share some. Hope you find them as funny as i did.

  • When Lindsay and I banged pots and pans around the house to bring in the New Year.
  • For that matter, the fact that linds and I put together a glow-in-the-dark unicorn puzzle on new years eve
  • While eating at Cafe Rio long ago Parker started singing.."if you need me call me, no matter where you are no matter how far baby" super loud and like everyone was looking at us while Sharon and I just tried to hide.
  • When I fell asleep during o-chem and when i woke up I wondered why the professor was showing pictures of hawaiian islands--oh nope, those are definitely molecules.
  • When Linds and I stayed up late choreographing a dance with our life size poster of Justin Bieber
  • When Parker was sitting in the back seat and my ipod was on shuffle. Ace of Base 'Wheel of Fortune' came on and Parker sang the first two lines of the song perfectly. (you tube it if you don't know what it sounds like)
  • When I went on a blind date to see the movie Prom and we were the only ones in the theater
  • When I had to leave Harry Potter because there was a bomb threat in the theater so we were all evacuated.
  • When Luke told us the definition of a really gross word
  • When the parachuter carrying the American flag at the Stadium of Fire ran into the barrier and took out the camera man
  • When Sharon and I experienced this
  • When my mechanical pencil ran out of lead in the testing center while I was taking my midterm that consisted of writing 6 essays...
  • When I stormed the field when BYU beat Utah in overtime and got a bloody nose.
Just a few of some funny moments in the life of Melanie...feel free to laugh

Father of Mine

Well folks--it happened!
Today is daddy's birthday and he turned (drum-roll please).............................45!
Yes, I know.. my parents are youngens. I hear it from everyone out here.
SO, to honor the greatest man on Earth, here are 45 facts you probably don't know about my daddy-o.
  1. His full name is Lee Lindsay Miles. Named after his mom's middle, maiden, and last name. (Deanna Lee Lindsay Miles)
  2. He served his mission in Sacramento, California
  3. He has the craziest diet ever. He basically just eats plain cream cheese all the time. Gag.
  4. He cannot multi-task
  5. He can juggle (i think? ha)
  6. He is passionate about his job
  7. He watches awfully boring TV shows, actually they aren't shows. They are just channels. Bloomberg, Larry King, etc.
  8. He also listens to awfully boring talk shows on the radio.
  9. I can't remember a time that I have ever been mad at him. I can probably count on one hand the number of times he has raised his voice at me.
  10. He has a contagious smile and laugh- He won most contagious smile in High school actually
  11. Speaking of laughing.... It is hard for him to breathe while watching Christmas Story or Christmas Vacation because he is laughing so hard.
  12. I think in the 18 years I lived at home my dad maybe was able to sit with us in sacrament for 5 of those.
  13. He is supportive of his kids--cheer competitions, dance recitals, basketball games, piano recitals, etc.
  14. He's a funny dancer
  15. Service is his middle name. Whether picking up the hitch-hiker on the way to tumbling every saturday morning(Dad-what is that guys name? I can't remember) or yard work at a neighbors house, he is always doing service.
  16. I think there was maybe 1 or 2 total girls camps or youth conferences that he wasn't at since he was in the bishopbric. I loved having him there!
  17. Speaking of which, one year he drove me home a day early from jackson hole from youth conference so I could be home for the tim mcgraw concert and a parade i had to cheer in.
  18. He messed up his pinky bad in church ball and after multiple surgeries he wore a pinky stretcher for years
  19. He's supportive of my plans- school, career, future, etc.
  20. I can talk to him about anything
  21. He's always been able to give me father's blessings, whether for school, cheer, or just cause
  22. In high school I would meet him at Mcdonalds for lunch every week before tumbling
  23. He's dedicated. He gets up at the crack of dawn to exercise. There was a time when he would treadmill 4 hours a day.
  24. He's always been a huge motivator for me. Especially with my 4.0 and doing well on the ACT.  My goal was to beat him, but he got me by 1 point.
  25. He's the breakfast and dessert maker in the family
  26. He's the best example of sacrifice. Like when he drove down to provo at 9:30 to come pick me up and take me back home when I heard about Greg. Or buying me a flight out to San Francisco to meet them after the funeral.
  27. He loves our cat Gilbert
  28. When I was in elementary he would do my book reports the night before they were due for me cause I didn't ever read my books. haha oops
  29. He is even more obsessed with Diet Coke than I am
  30. We are the perfect pizza duo. He eats the cheese, I eat the crust.
  31. He always made us get up and read scriptures at 6:30 am
  32. He has a testimony of the restored gospel. I go to him for all of my questions.
  33. If I remember right, he was too scared to cut our umbilical cords ha ha
  34. He's the oldest of 5 kids, whose names also all start with L.
  35. He likes current popular music--ya know... the kind that dad's aren't supposed to like haha
  36. He has a secret crush on Fergie.
  37. He's the first person I go to when I need anything
  38. He let me drop out of AP american history after the first semester because I would come home and cry to him about how hard my homework was.
  39. He's super smart
  40. He is a byu cougar, denver bronco, and utah jazz fan
  41. He's taught me the gospel- faith, prayer, fasting, etc.
  42. He's a people person
  43. When I was younger I loved to work for him-- folding letters and licking envelopes.. seriously like hundreds of them.
  44. His favorite phrase to say is... "be nice to your dear old dad"
  45. I've never had to wonder if he loves me. I always get messages from him telling me so.
I could go on and on, but there you have it. Papa Miles in a nutshell. Love you so much dad! Thanks for everything you do!

Happy Birthday!

Decemburrr

Well Thanksgiving has come and gone and now I'm a week away from class being over. Such a great feeling. AL.MO.ST. TH.ER.E. And then finals week and then home home home.

My Thanksgiving was great, I hope yours was as well! I got to go home and spend some time with my fam and we took family pictures. Here's a preview.

Yes, indeed my cat is wearing a leather jacket.
and...
you can be expecting a Christmas card from me this year.
I just ordered them.
The picture is a real treat.
So I'll be gathering your addresses.
Or you could just be a gem and leave it for me.
That'd be nice too.

I am happy to admit that I am now a Christmas fanatic.
Christmas music.
Justin Bieber's new album?
yes. in love.
Christmas movies.
only the classics.
Alvin and the Chipmunks
Elf
The Grinch
The Christmas Story
Christmas Vacation
Christmas decorations?
my apartment is lacking.
and i'm too cheap.
But maybe some paper snowflakes will do.

Also I started reading the Harry Potter series (for the first time).
Gotta check it off my bucket list.
I started on Thanksgiving anddd i'm half way through book 2.
That's a lot of reading for me!

Two thousand eight

Tonight I got to see a little Kalai concert after the BYU basketball game (which we won by 40 by the way).

Not a lot of people know who Kalai is... He is pretty local. I personally didn't know who he was until my junior year when a certain someone introduced me to him. Then he left and Kalai was the artist of "our song". The summer of 2008 I was obsessed with him. I would put his songs on repeat and listen to them continually.

Listening to Kalai again, which hasn't happened since freshman year, brought back so many memories. It is crazy to look back on a see how much my life has changed. It seems like those days were just yesterday but i'm almost coming on 4 years. Wowzer.

Also I got some pics from my mama today. Here's a few for ya!
 Isn't my sister cute?!
 Miles side of the fam
 cutest cat ever
 the sibs
Batman!!!

*Just wait till you see Gilbert's outfit for family pictures!!

Going home tomorrow for 2 days!

Thank You.

Well you know what time of year it is.... So fittingly my next few days will be thankful posts. Today will be PEOPLE that i'm grateful for!

  • My two loving, supportive parents. I'm so blessed to have the greatest parents in the world. They sacrifice so much for me. I know they love me and care about me and will do anything for me. I'm so grateful for their example that I have to live by. They have taught me so much but mostly I'm grateful for the way they raised me. For always having the gospel at the forefront of our lives. For being a living testimony of the gospel. I'm so grateful for the values that they have instilled in my life. I'm grateful that they love me no matter what, that they are always forgiving of my shortcomings, and their always willing to help me grow.
  • My two siblings. I'm so lucky to have a brother and sister. I'm grateful for the memories that we have whether from family vacations, family parties, or from just hanging out at home. I sure miss them. They are so good to me. Even when I am a bratty, bossy big sister. I look up to them so much. They both have such spirits about them. They are such good kids and have such bright futures ahead of them. I hope that I can set a good example for them to follow.
  • My two best friends Sharon and Parker. I honestly don't know what I would do without these two. When Sharon and I tell people this is our 3rd year living together their automatic response is "and you still like each other??" most days. haha no I'm honestly surprised how well we do get along. Someone mentioned we were sisters because they haven't lived with anyone that long besides family. Basically we are sisters. I think she knows absolutely everything about me. My likes, dislikes, issues, insecurities, etc. We can relate to each other on a lot of levels which is also great. I think that every night ends in a deep conversation which usually leads to a deep conversation of the gospel. It's so great to live with my best friend. Then there is Parker. We are going on 4 years of friendship now which seems like not very long to me. I've been through a lot with this boy. Probably more with him than anyone else. And never fail he is always there for me. Usually I can be quite the brat to him but he is always forgiving and so caring. He is always thinking of me, like when he called to tell me about Greg. I'm sure that wasn't easy but he loved me enough to call me and let me know. My mom always reminds me i'm not going to be able to have Parker as a best friend for much longer since we will both get married and move on with life. The thought of that makes me want to cry. I'm so blessed to have these two in provo with me.
  • My high school friends Lindsay, Courtney, Emily, and Jade. Since they all live in Logan it is hard to stay in touch with them but I know that even though we don't talk as much they've still got my back. It's so great to have girl friends that I can tell everything to. I know they'll listen and really care about what i'm saying. I love getting little check-up texts from them to see how I'm doing and I especially love the rare opportunities I have to see them. Christmas break is coming soon my friends! :) I wish I could go up to Logan more often and spend time with them but my stupid job gets in the way. I sure love you girls!
  • My Bishopbric. Talk about some caring men. The new bishopbric was put in just as everyone was leaving for the summer. There were only a few of us that carried over to the summer. Because of this I served as their little helper to get them adjusted. Because of this I got to know them really well. They are the best. They always are so genuine and so kind to me. Whether telling me that they love me cause i'm always smiling or telling me I'm a great piano player, they are the nicest guys.
  • I have been blessed with the best co-chair ever! Honestly Jared is the best thing that has happened to me. He does so much and always lets me off the hook. He takes care of everything. He is so proactive about things and whenever I am stressed or have a problem with something he takes care of it no questions asked. He goes to ward council so I don't have to, he plays the piano so I don't have to, He plays the piano for choir so I don't have to, let's face it... he does everything!
  • My boss and co-workers. They are so good at working with my school schedule and everything. They are so nice to me and are a lot of fun to work with. If it weren't for the people I work with I would have quit a long time ago. Of course there are some people that I don't particularly love but I am blessed to at least get along with everyone.
I hope these people know how much I love and appreciate them. My life would be real lonely and awful without them! This list isn't limited to my only friends. I've been blessed with other great friends that have come into my life exactly when I needed them. Especially MeMe, Zach, Christopher, Luke, Doug, and all of Parker's roommates. I'm so grateful for you! Thank you.

Tents up.

Well hello.
I'm free.
Anatomy is over!
Best feeling ever.
Even better feeling?
I think I have an A.
Be proud, Mom!
It sure feels liberating to "forget" those thousands of terms I just learned.

Anyways now I'm just wasting time before TWILIGHT.
I'm so excited. And I'm going to the megaplex. Best decision ever.
I'm sure I will laugh when I drive by the cinemark
and see people doing this:
Wow I can't believe that was two years ago.
Feels like yesterday.

Well Sharon and I have been spicing things up lately by sleeping in this:

Be jealous. We have sleepovers nightly.
And we do our homework together.
And we have had a twilight marathon all week with Luke.

Also I went to my last BYU football game for the season.
Burrrr. At least it wasn't snowing!
And we KILLED Idaho.

(How can I go to pharmacy school at Idaho or Idaho state when their football teams suck so bad?)

I only have to write a 5 page paper this weekend.
And then I am free tuesday-sunday. :)
Too bad I have a job.
But luckily I do get to venture home for a few days!

I also sent my very last packages to Noob #1 and #2
Can't believe how soon they will be home.
Sure can't wait!

Well in the words of Noob #1,

Au Revoir!
(goodbye in French)

In 8 hours....

I will be a FREE woman!

2 Finals down. My hardest classes mind you.

And I will soon be on my way to Breaking Dawn.
Stoked.

Now for the next 8 hours of death ahead of me........

Wish me luck.

11-11-11

I can't pass up an opportunity to post on such an awesome day! Too bad I'm a few minutes late to have it be posted at 11:11...

Now my friday will be spent studying for a deadly test, a 3 hour chem experiment, and then the deadly test itself.

My weekend is nowhere in sight.

But my day was made when I received a text that said,
"Sometimes I think you struggle with this concept, but you are loved. Don't ever forget it."

Thank you kind sir.

Have a wishful day!

And an even better weekend!

LOVES.

Let it be known

Last night was date night.
We'll call him Kage. aka cornia
I had first date jitters.
Poor thing drove down from South Jordan in yucky utah county construction.
And we went to see Harry Potter in the dollar theater.
That's what I did on my last date ironically.
Back in July. Yes, July.
Judge me.
He's a hoot.
And cute. :)
It was a real good time.
I told him I'd drive to him next time since he's been down to provo twice now.
And since he drives a hot truck that is a gas guzzler i'm sure.
We'll see if I ever see him again. Haha
Here's some awkward pictures for you.

Handbags.........

Stupid auto correct.

Sharon sent me a funny text today.
I responded with hahaha handbags.
Handbags?
no. I meant hahahahhaha

As much as I hate it there are some funny things that come from it. Like this convo with parker...

Parker: You wanna watch the game with us tonight?
Me: We are watching it over here! You guys should join us
Parker: We're watching it at beast. You should come with us!
Me: What is that?
Parker: hahahhahaha at BRODY'S. Lol he is a beast.

But these are the best:

Haunted.

Seems like a harsh word for what I'm about to say, but sums up how I feel quite perfectly. I thought that after the viewing and funeral were done the hard part would be over. Well I was dead wrong about that. I think it has gotten worse. It has seemed the past month or so I have been "haunted" by Greg memories. I say haunted because they are the bad memories. The painful ones that bring the tears. I hate to say it but sometimes I still cry myself to sleep. Nights like tonight when I have a hard time falling asleep are the worst. I find myself laying in bed looking at this:

Over the past few months I've tried to make a point to be real tired before I get in bed. I've got to distract myself otherwise to avoid a sleepless night. Things will hit me at different times. Sometimes it doesn't take much.
  • going to my first viewing since--seeing a casket/mourning family/etc.
  • hearing a song we sang at the funeral like 'Be Still My Soul'
  • singing 'How Great Thou Art' at stake conference which all of guys sang at the funeral.
  • The song 'If I Die Young' is like a swear word in my apt or car. Sharon is conditioned to immediately change the song no matter where we are (even on the neighbor's computer--thank you!) but when you are ice skating and the song comes on there isn't much you can do but cover your ears. And then there goes my night.
  • Opening my email to find a whole bunch of pictures like these from a friend

  • Driving to Logan being so close to Blacksmith Fork Canyon.
  • Realizing I don't get to go find the funniest Christmas card possible and send it to Greg and convince him that I win in our annual attempt to give each other the funnier one. He's convinced he won last year but I beg to differ since it took me 10 minutes to even understand.

Luckily I've gotten really good at saving my tears for the bedroom. I think my cute little BYU boys from Vocal Point said it best on the Sing Off... (P.S. Don't you love them? They better win. Also sidenote, the redhead girl from Delilah, yeah i know her. We go bowling together).

I'll be missing you Greggor

BUSTED

Currently I am in love with:

They have this deal right now where you pay 8 dollars and you get 30 days of unlimited movies.
Awesome right?
So of course I am set on getting my moneys worth.
I think Sharon and I have watched a movie nightly since.
SO... I need some good movies to rent. Give me some ideas people!

So far we have watched:
winnie the pooh
cars 2
post-grad
water for elephants
absolutely, maybe

Also... of course i'm counting down for THIS movie to come out.
10 days? Perfect.

AND. best news of all. I am FREE Dec. 22-31. I think that is the longest I've had off from work since I got the job. Sweet Freedom. I can't wait.

And. my next semester sucks. hello 18 credits.

P.S. please leave me your addresses so i can write some of you notes aka christmas cards.
Thanks :)

Friday, November 4, 2011

well hello again

I didn't realize how long it has been since I last blogged.
Not like I have much to update you all on.
My Halloween was really lame.
I didn't get festive and dress up.
In fact.....
I still haven't carved my pumpkins.
AND cornbelly's fell through.
I wasn't as festive as I thought I was going to be.
I'll try again next Halloween.
The only good thing that happened was seeing these weirdos.

Sometimes I am really embarrassed to know them.
They were so proud of their costumes.
I think Alan could really pull off the girl hair.
Kind of worries me.
Tonight I went to my first basketball game of the season.
I forgot how big of a hole that has caused in my life.
My life is complete again.
I LOVE byu basketball.
That's an understatement.
I'm obsessed.
I don't care if Jimmer is gone.
That means little to me.
yes i will miss him.
and he is AMAZING.
Don't get me wrong.....
BUT.
I think 3 or 4 of our players had 20 points.
That didn't exist last season.
I'm stoked.
In fact..........
Sharon and I slept in a tent last night to prepare.
Wanna know where our tent was?
Our living room.
Yes. I'm dead serious.
It took up like the WHOLE room.
Our roommates hate us.
muahahhahaha.
Also.. Shoutout to my big little bro
His Birthday was yesterday!
he's 17. sickening.
makes me feel old.
Pretty sure i was 17 last week.
AND. The hardcore Packers fan is in San Diego right now.
Going to a Green Bay game.
Lucky.
Well, I gotta go do my cleaning for cleaning checks.
gag. least favorite night of the month.
Can you believe it is November?
and there is no snow on the ground?!
Keep it that way!!!
Hope you all have a fantabulous week!

Who says BYU doesn't have fall break?

So sure I had to go to school every day this week, but believe me... I done did have myself a perfect weekend. My family was in Texas on vay-k and texting me and making me all jealous so i had to do something with myself.

It all started with Jaders. Haven't seen her forever. Maybe june or july.
She LOVES J-DAWGS. Best hot dog i've ever had in my life.
I haven't been there since last year when I went with her.
It was divine.
Sharon thought it was so divine that she spilled 'special sauce' all over her pants....
And of course Lukers was there. Stud.

Then I went up north. Logan bound.
First I made a stop at Greggor's grave.
There was nothing there (which after hearing there was a Ute flag
there earlier I was glad there wasn't ha ha) so I went and
got some Gerber Daisies. of course.

Then I made it up to Logan to be reunited with old friends.
I only got to see Linds and Emmers.
But it was so good to catch up and spend some time with them.
LOVE YOU GIRLS!

THEN... I came back to Provo.. sick mind you.
So sick feeling that I didn't go to the BYU game.
Now that is saying something. Luckily we won by 53 points.
I would have been bored anyways.
But that night after nursing myself back to health
I had a marvelous night.
I got to see these boys:

Then I went Ice skating with these peeps:
We're the best friends anyone could have. seriously.
we are so funny. all you need is 3 words.
I AIN'T COMIN'!

and while I was there I saw these peeps(again):
stranger, Josh, Christian, Marques, Jake

and then went up Provo Canyon and had a fire with
Sharon, Tony, Cason (scott),
Holmquist (rigdon), Cornia (kj), and Kolten.
They are mission companions of Tony that is why
we call them by their last names. habit.
I didn't take any pics but here are a few from Cason.

 Cason, Me, Sharon, Tony, Kolten
hobo Holmquist.

My weekend STILL isn't over. I had a fabulous time at church
today. Then I got to go spend some quality time with Parker, Alan,
and Javier. Then came home and studied hard for my chem test
that i'm going to beast tomorrow. bahahaha
and now i'm watching Tangled with
Sharon and Tony. A weekend doesn't get much better
than this. seriously. It was fabulous. But I still wish
I could have been in Texas with my family.
Stupid school. But don't fret. I'm going home this weekend!!!
First time this semester i'm pretty sure. yeah its about time.

'Tis the Season

I have nothing exciting to blog about. Sorry. My life is pretty lame as of late. Instead I will tell you what I will be doing before Halloween. It is a must in my book of fall.

1.

I have been to Corn Belly's every year that I have been down at school. And i'm not about to ruin my tradition. I will go by myself if I have to. Corn mazes are like my favorite thing about fall. Supposedly I'm supposed to have a date to it this year.. Well I'm not counting on it. So Corn Belly's get ready for me.

2.

I love carving pumpkins! It's something I really miss about home! I don't care how messy it is. I love sticking my arm in a nasty pumpkin and squishing all the guts. :)

AND Finally... 3. Making Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.  My all-time favorite cookies! LOVE THEM. and tis the season.

That is all I have thought of so far. I will let you know my progress of these items soon. Also, my family is going to Texas this week without me! Why? cause melanie has school. BOOOO. So jealous. So maybe it's time to make a trip up to Logan? Or do ya'll have fall break this week. LET ME KNOW!

Petite Sweet Corn-IA

Oh man I am funny.

Hello All.
How are you? (Leave me a comment and let me know:)
All is well here.
School is busy and yucky yet almost half way over. Glorious.

The weeks go by so fast for me. And to be honest.. I don't hate mondays. Probably cause I don't work. And I'm out of school at 1:00. And no homework due on tuesdays. PARTYYY.

Right now I am sitting in the fishbowl, yes we have a place on campus called the fishbowl, next to a guy that looks freakishly familiar. Don't know him though. I think he hates me cause I am saving a seat for a kid in my chem lab so he can't put his feet up on the chair. oops.

This weekend was grand. Another lucky round of good seats for a fabulous BYU homecoming game. Love my cougars. Also.. The BYU basketball team starts practicing this week. Am I excited? Thrilled.

Also, after months and months of unanswered prayers.... I got my answer today. Ecstatic.

Until next post my friends. Farewell
